Saima A Khan, MD, MPH

Medical Director

Dr. Saima A Khan serves as the Medical Director for CareLink Services & Billing Solutions, LLC (CareLink), where she provides clinical leadership, strategic guidance, and healthcare expertise to support community-centered care models, care coordination initiatives, and population health programs. With more than 20 years of experience in Internal Medicine and primary care, Dr. Khan is dedicated to advancing equitable, patient-centered healthcare and improving access to high-quality services across diverse communities.

At CareLink, Dr. Khan supports the organization’s mission of strengthening healthcare delivery through operational excellence, ethical healthcare support services, care coordination, and sustainable infrastructure for healthcare providers, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and community-based organizations. Her leadership helps guide initiatives focused on improving health outcomes, reducing barriers to care, and enhancing collaboration between clinical and community-based systems.

Dr. Khan currently practices Internal Medicine at Family Practice Care, PLLC, where she provides comprehensive adult primary care services, including chronic disease management, preventive care, women’s health services, wellness examinations, and patient education. She has extensive experience managing complex medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease, while emphasizing preventive medicine, collaborative care planning, and long-term patient wellness.

She earned both her undergraduate degree and her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan before completing her medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Khan completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she received multiple faculty and peer recognition awards for excellence in patient care, leadership, and clinical service.

Throughout her career, Dr. Khan has remained actively involved in healthcare quality improvement and practice transformation initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, strengthen care coordination, and support community-based healthcare solutions. She is passionate about advancing healthcare models that integrate preventive care, health education, and community partnerships to improve overall population health and health equity.

Dr. Khan is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and maintains hospital privileges within the Corewell Health and Henry Ford Health systems.
